10 Must-Have Kitchen Supplies I Recommend

Good morning from Nashville. I’ve been meeting with the ABLE team here for the past two days to review samples of my fall collection. All I can say is that I am very excited about this series. The ABLE team is absolutely incredible, the work they do in fashion from an ethical and sustainable perspective is so unique. They truly put people above profit and are passionate about empowering women through opportunity. It’s incredibly inspiring and reinforcing, and why I’m so honored and excited to have the opportunity to work with them. More content coming soon!

This post may look familiar to my newsletter subscribers, but I wanted to share it here with anyone who missed it. I’ve rounded up my favorite kitchen items that I’ll recommend time and time again. If you are looking for more pots, pans and cookware recommendations Check out this article. More details about our kitchen renovations look here.

DASH Safe Slicing Mandolin Slicer

Love cutting your veggies very thin, but hate almost cutting your fingers off? Let me introduce you to Dash Safe Slice Mandoline! It’s a total game changer that makes slicing easier and safer. Get slices, dice, shreds, and more. It took me a little while to figure it out, but Craig took about 2 minutes and he did most of the cooking so he was happy.

coffee machine coffee machine

I’ve always loved this coffee maker because it looks beautiful and keeps the coffee hot for a long time, but when we had friends over the holidays I realized how incredible it was. It barely makes a sound when you make coffee (nice when you’re trying not to bark) and it makes a pot of coffee in no time. It’s also easy to use automatic brew, so you can set it the night before and you can customize your brew strength.

Nespresso Aeroccino milk frother

Using it to froth milk couldn’t be easier. I have found that for non-dairy milk, oat and soy foams are the best. It’s like having a coffee shop in your kitchen. I drink coffee every morning with some frothy milk and a little maple syrup. I blame Vermont.

Casafina cutlery

Casafina It might sound familiar because I talked a lot about this brand late last year. I’m really tired of buying plates that tend to crack or scratch after a few weeks. Then I found Casafina. I bought them a year ago because I love the neutrals in our kitchen, but they have proven to be incredible quality. They are fine stoneware made in Portugal and can be used in the microwave, oven, freezer and dishwasher.I started with this set but added Windows And soup bowls.

Lodge Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Skillet

There’s a reason it’s voted the best cast iron skillet by Wirecutter. We have some cast iron skillets, some are very expensive, and this one from Lodge ($29) always comes out on top. It’s pre-seasoned and can be used in just about anything, including roasting, sautéing, roasting, roasting, and deep-frying.It’s a bit heavy so if you’re looking for something lighter Pairs with Lodge Chef Collection frying pans.

Kitchen Essentials

ALL-CLAD Classic Round Waffle Maker

I won’t talk about how often Craig eats waffles, but a lot. Granted, he’s the one who uses this, but he’s also the chef of almost every meal, so his opinion matters. We’ve been through some waffle makers that didn’t work out. We’ve had this for a long time, and not only is it a great waffle, but it’s not huge (great if you don’t have enough room in the kitchen) and it’s easy to clean.

Zwilling Vintage 1876 18/10 Stainless Steel Cutlery Set

I wanted dinnerware with a vintage look and feel for our Vermont house. This set reminds me of my aunt’s cutlery. The quality is very good and the price is very balanced. You know how some cutlery is too heavy or feels weird to hold it? Hope it’s not just me, lol.i bought marlin This similar set she likes it.

Organic Linen Napkins

A napkin can elevate the dining experience.I love the classic french stripes and thick organic cotton in this group. This is an easy way to make your table look pretty with minimal effort, and while I love them for entertaining, they’re equally as good for a casual dinner at home. Especially since we don’t eat out these days, it’s a great way to make dining at home feel special. Plus, it’s very eco-friendly!

Nordic Ware Naturals Pans

A sturdy, simple pan at an affordable price. set of 2 really is what you need. We use them all the time for a sheet pan dinner, roast veggies, and bake.

all the best soap

Everyone is washing their hands these days, and Follain All Purpose Soap makes it feel a little more luxurious. I always get reviews from guests about this soap because it smells so good. It’s also biodegradable, plant-based, synthetic fragrance-free, and made in the USA. 15% off your purchase with my code JESSANNKIRBY15 (One-time use, some exceptions apply).
