Ultenic K10 Smart Air Fryer Review – Alternative to Proscenic T22 Smart Air Fryer

I’ve always loved the idea of ​​smart kitchen technology. Being able to schedule or start cooking remotely so my food is ready when I get home is very appealing to me.

I reviewed it before Proscenic T21 Smart Air Fryerimpressed me and still use it today.

Recently, Ultenic sent me their K10 air fryer to review. I didn’t know the Ultenic brand before this, but their product line looks very similar to Proscenic.

The Ultenic K10 appears to have the same design as the new Proscenic T22 smart air fryer. Both units appear to have the same specs, they have the same capacity, power output and similar applications.

This is not a bad thing. Many affordable Chinese brands use white label items and then use the Tuya/Smart Life app to control the device (even if the app is renamed).

set up

Ultenic has its own branded app, but this seems to be based on the graffiti/smart life app. The app has some bad reviews, but I haven’t had any issues.

Just like most smart home products need to connect to a 2.4Ghz WiFi network. Most homes have an SSID for both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, but you may need to create a unique WiFi name that is only 2.4Ghz.

You need to register for an account. One problem I’m having is poor password control, limiting characters to 8-12.

Then, you need to select your device. Unlike the Tuya, the choices are greatly reduced, and you have the Ultenic-branded model name.

You need to turn on the air fryer, then press and hold the power button for five seconds to put it into pairing mode and follow the instructions.

I got everything up and running within minutes.

In use/Performance

along with Air fryer Once set up, you can control everything from the app. You can manually start the air fryer by selecting the temperature and time. Using the timer button in the app, you can set the air fryer’s start-up delay to up to 4 hours.

Under More Recipes Options, you can choose from a wide range of recipes, which are then linked to heat and time, allowing you to automatically set up your air fryer.

The Ultenic K10 cooking compartment looks much smaller than the Proscenic T21. The official spec is 5L, while the T21 is 5.5L, so there shouldn’t be much difference. The T22 is the same size as the Ultenic K10.

The Ultenic K10 seems to be far less noisy than my Proscenic T21. I had a hard time hearing the K10 on the T21, I even had to put my hand on the side of the unit to check if it was running.

It turned out great, like most air fryers. When it comes to my midweek cooking, I’m not very excited, and it tends to be homemade chips, chicken, and veggies.

The fries turned golden brown and cooked evenly (with a few shakes in between). I don’t have any over or under chips.

The coated chicken thighs are fragrant and crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside.

I also made a roast chicken in the air fryer and the skin was nice and crispy and the meat was nice and moist.

Make healthy Chinese fakes, coat strips of beef with cornflowers, then roast into crispy beef, and it turns out great too.

Price and Alternatives

The Ultenic K10 is currently priced at £119.99 on Amazon, with Amazon Prime shipping. Ultenic has only been on Amazon for a few months, without any major discounts during that time.

The Proscenic T22 has a higher MSRP of £129, but at the time of writing Prosenic is running a spring sale and the T22 Air Fryer is £40 off, bringing it down to £89. Check out Keepa, it’s often down to around £80.

The older Proscenic T21 is currently £98, but there’s a £20 voucher to bring it down to £78.

The Ultenic K10 is an excellent smart air fryer. I found it easy to use, either through manual controls or the app. I like the ability to start it remotely or set it to start automatically based on a timer.

It also runs surprisingly quiet and cooks really well.

However, I recommend checking the current pricing for the Proscenic model. At the time of writing, the Ultenic K10 has a lower RRP, but no discount. Both the Proscenic T22 and T21 are heavily discounted.
