information – A few days ago, I told you about Leatherman’s latest outfit, which happened to be a T-shirt and hat, not a utility tool. Now, another big player in the multitool/EDC world has launched (see what I did there?) a new version of their Spectra line of rolling luggage.

65% of the new Spectra 3.0 series luggage is constructed with SORPLAS™, a high-performance recycled polycarbonate produced by Sony Semiconductor Solutions. OK, I’ll give them points for that, but the rest of the luggage is the same as most other rolling luggage on the market. They don’t even have a built-in corkscrew or tweezers! What are they thinking?

I do love the red color of the trunk (it also comes in everyone’s favorite color – black). Spectra 3.0 series luggage comes in a variety of sizes, at least the carry-on size does have what Victorinox calls an integrated multi-function panel. But don’t get excited because as far as I can see it only has an ID tray, USB port and space pen. Still want one? Start saving, as carry-on bags start at a whopping $520 and larger sizes start at $650.Get more information swissarmy.com
