advantage
- Self-emptying station provides over a month of use before you need to empty
- LiDAR Navigation for Whole House Cleaning
- Mopping function without mopping area
shortcoming
- Doodle’s setup can be more confusing than competing brands
AIRROBO T10+ is a high-spec, low-priced sweeping robot. This has almost everything you need for a robot vacuum cleaner, LiDAR navigation, vacuuming and mopping, no mopping and mopping areas, long-lasting batteries and self-emptying stations.
It’s also one of the cheapest options on the market with all these features. But how good is it?
Features/Specifications
- Precise Laser Navigation and SLAM Algorithm: The laser sensor on the top of the T10+ robot vacuums rotates 6 times per second, quickly and comprehensively scans your house, builds a virtual map and selects the most efficient cleaning path.
- Self-cleaning robot vacuum cleaner: The automatic sewage base of AIRROBO T10+ empties the dirt in the dustbin with 26KPa suction, and the 3.3L hypoallergenic disposable dust bag can store dirt for up to 45 days.
- Mopping and sweeping robot: Equipped with a two-in-one electronically controlled water tank, the T10+ sweeping robot can vacuum and mop at the same time. There are 3 levels of water control in the APP for you to choose.
- 2700Pa strong suction and carpet boosting technology: The 15% slope capability enables the T10+ to climb up and down the carpet smoothly. The 2700pa suction and automatic carpet assist will suck away the fine dust hidden in it, keeping the carpet clean and bright.
- Smart Control: T10+ can be activated by APP control, voice control and remote control. Use the Graffiti app to customize your cleaning, set restricted areas, choose suction levels. Compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, you can command the T10+ via voice control without moving your fingers.
- 250 MINUTE RUNTIME & SMART CHARGING: With a 5200mAh battery, the AIRROBO T10+ robot vacuum can run for up to 250 minutes on a single charge, when the battery runs low, it returns to the base to charge and can pick up where it left off.
Settings – Doodle

Like the Chinese company’s most affordable smart home tech, this relies on the Tuya app. Some companies tweaked the app and rebranded it with their own name, but it’s still largely the same.
AIRROBO T10+ uses the actual graffiti app. The setup is pretty straightforward, but the instructions don’t exactly match what you need to do. However, these instructions make more sense than the Neatsvor X600 Pro.
After registering the Tuya app, you need to:
- Use the plus sign in the upper right corner to select Add New Device
- Select Small Home Appliances and scroll down to Robot Vacuum (Wi-Fi)
- Provide the password for the 2.4Ghz WiFI SSID. If you are connected to a 5Ghz network, you will need to switch.
- Put the vacuum cleaner into the setup process/reset its WiFi/or just make sure the light is blinking
- You will need to select AP Mode
- Then you go to connect it should be an open WiFi name starting with SL-
- Then it should be easy to pair
Lidar Mapping

This uses LiDAR for mapping and navigation. It does have a small cutout on the front of the vacuum, which looks like it might be for VSLAM, but as far as I can tell, that’s not the case.
The mapping works well, the vacuum seems to create an accurate map on first use, and it also manages not to get stuck on anything in the process. The robot also has cliff detection and managed to avoid falling down the steps into our porch.
The robot will intelligently create rooms that you can name. I’ve found that larger irregularly shaped rooms would be classified as two rooms, but that’s fine with me, and you can combine rooms if you want.
You can set restricted area and drag area. Surprisingly, I found that I don’t need to rely on restricted areas yet. My Ecovacs Deebot N8 would get stuck on the drying rack in my front room, but not yet.
clean and empty
The T10+ is equipped with an automatic sewage charging base, which empties the dustbin with a suction force of 26KPa, with an efficiency of over 98%. It uses a 3.3L hypoallergenic disposable dust bag that stores dirt for up to 45 days before you manually throw it away.
The vacuum itself has a 300ml bin, which is pretty small but enough to clean my house every day before it goes back to the charging stand to empty itself.
I always have my robot vacuums on schedule, so I find it easy to forget to empty them. Most of them have fairly small dust chambers, so in a large house you’ll need to empty it every few days.
So its self-draining feature is a major selling point for me.
The way it docks to the self-empty station is different from what I’ve used before.I tried it before Yeedi Vac Station; This rolls onto a charging base similar to most regular robot vacuums, where the charging point is located. The dirt is then sucked from the bottom and into the workstation.
With the AIRROBO T10+, it doesn’t have a base that can be rolled up, it just docks on a self-emptying station where you can see the big suction holes. The charging point is located on the front of the robot when docked.
I doubt how this will work, I feel like it will inevitably leave a mess on the floor. However, so far it has worked fine and there is no debris on the floor at all.
Overall cleaning performance is good, with a maximum suction power of 2600 Pa, which is on the higher end of the vacuums I’ve reviewed. The robot automatically changes the suction power when it detects a carpet, which works great. The robot covers my home comfortably on a single charge, and I ended up setting the suction level to the maximum for the scheduled cleaning.
mop
Like many robot vacuums today, this can also mop floors. It has a suitable tank that can hold 300ml of water, and the robot can control when it turns on. So this allows you to not set the mop area.
By comparison, the Trifo Lucy has a capacity of 100ml, and that’s just a gravity-fed dumb mop, which doesn’t work for my house.
In my house, the kitchen has hard floors, but the living areas are carpeted, so a mop-free area is a must for me.
The mopping performance is ok, at the end of the day it’s just a dab of a damp cloth on the floor. It leaves a slight mark on the floor and helps keep it on top.
Battery
In my house, the robot keeps recording about 53 cubic meters, runs from 50 minutes to 1 hour, and covers 4 large rooms. The maximum runtime is said to be 250 minutes, which should cover the largest properties.
When the robot returns to charge, the self-empty station has an LED display to give you charging instructions.

overall
So far, I am very impressed with the AIRROBO T10+. Mapping and cleaning performance is as good as my Ecovacs Deebot N8, and I love that I don’t have to clean the robot every few days thanks to the automatic emptying station.
Pricing is probably the most attractive part of the AIRROBO T10+. At around £340, this is the cheapest self-emptying robot vacuum I could find at the time of writing.
