- Wholesome Yum White Almond Flour – This flour is super finely ground and has a neutral flavor, making it the perfect substitute for white flour. Avoid almond flour as they will make the pancakes too tough. Check out more flour substitutes below this list!
- Besti Monk Fruit Allulose Blend – The best natural sugar-free sweetener to make these pancakes taste like traditional! It measures like sugar and contains 0 grams of net carbs per serving.other keto sweetener will work, but this one creates the best flavor and texture.
- baking powder – Makes pancakes more fluffy. Don’t use baking soda, it’s not the same thing.
- sea salt – Balanced sweetness.
- Egg – Use a whole large egg.A sort of flax eggs Should work too, but pancakes will be more fragile.
- Unsweetened Almond Milk – you can use other keto milk (dairy free or not) such as coconut milk drinks or watered down heavy cream, or even conventional milk if you don’t mind the extra carbs.I like to use Homemade Almond Milk Give it to me when I have time.
- Avocado Oil – Make sure the pancakes are not too dry and have a neutral taste. You can use coconut oil, melted butter, or another type of oil if you prefer. (If you’re using butter or coconut oil, make sure your other ingredients are at room temperature, not cold.) Just make sure it’s a neutral flavor to avoid any odd flavors in the almond flour pancakes! You also need more oil for frying (more popular than butter, which burns easily).
- vanilla extract – Optional, but high quality vanilla adds a lot of flavor.
