Another day, another retailer is too eager to post a product page.Yesterday we had a US retailer publish a full product page Garmin Forerunner 955today we have Løberen, a Danish retailer, posting pictures and prices Garmin Forerunner 255.

We had a price leak for the Forerunner 255 before, and this product listing is about the same price.
It has been said before that the cost of these two models is:
- Forerunner 255 (music) for €400 (£335/$420)
- Forerunner 255 (no music) for €350 (£293/$367)
This listing is for DKK 3099 and is priced at £353.81.
The Forerunner 245 with music is currently on sale at Garmin for £299, which is the same as the release RRP.
Forerunner 245 without music for £250.
It’s currently priced at £180 and £245 on Amazon.
Garmin Forerunner 255 and Garmin Forerunner 245 Design
Based on the current images, the overall design looks very similar. Strangely, the new Garmin Forerunner 255 seems to have thicker bezels than the FR245. There is no obvious marking to indicate that the bezel includes solar, so I’m not sure why it would be thicker.
Garmin also seems to have removed the flares around the buttons, which I always thought looked a little odd.
On the bottom of the watch, we can see that the charging port has changed and the optical sensor has been upgraded to match all other new watches.
Garmin Forerunner 255 Features
This listing doesn’t reveal anything new about these features. Previously reported:
- Upgraded heart rate sensor and GPS
- It is believed that the Forerunner 255 will be upgraded to a barometric altimeter, which will help increase running power.
- There should be a new smaller Forerunner 255s
- Running power from an external device

Aside from the price, this listing doesn’t reveal too many interesting things. Barring a last-minute change, the Garmin Forerunner 255 appears to be priced around £50 more than the Garmin Forerunner 245’s MSRP.
The £50 price hike isn’t too bad, as long as the FR255 has enough new features to justify it.
If you’re looking for a new watch, I recommend waiting another week. I expect the price of the existing Forerunner 245 may drop further, giving you a chance to haggle.
