SEATTLE – The Business Readiness Fund, formed by the GSBA (Washington’s LGBTQ+ and United Chamber of Commerce) and Comcast, is now accepting applications from small businesses across Washington seeking financial assistance.

Applications open on June 13, and small business owners can apply through theGSBA.org/ready-for-business until June 26, 2022.

Grants of more than $200,000 will be distributed to at least 80 small businesses across the state.

According to the press release, grant applications are short and easy to complete. All grant applicants will be notified by the last week of July.

The Ready for Business Fund was established in the summer of 2020 with an investment of $100,000 by Comcast and GSBA as fund managers. Over the past two years, the fund has issued $2,500 in cash grants to more than 130 small businesses in Washington.
