This wasn’t my first brow trim, but it was my first time at Strokes with the most coveted brow groomer in the country, MoMoi Supe.
I say most coveted because I’ve known him from a long time ago when only a few people and salons offered eyebrow trimming services also known as eyebrow microblading tattoo services. While we know eyebrow tattoos have been around for a long time, there weren’t many, especially in the past. You know those one-liner green brow lines from our Lolas? yes that.
Brow tattoos have come a long way, and many brow artists and even those who take advantage of the service know better. It’s not just two curves on the forehead, it’s more the tiny strokes that make up one brow, which is what Strokes and MoMoi Supe have perfected.
Yes, I can rave about how different and great their service is compared to others I have experienced. They won’t stop sculpting your brows until you’ve got the perfect shape, shade and color! Unlike other brow tattoo/brow microblading services out there, once they’ve filled in the shape, you’re done.
Here’s my full experience and time with eyebrow sculpting at Strokes, so you can see for yourself:
Have you seen the video above? You should, so you can see everything was a careful and thoughtful process that took me what I think was 4 hours including anesthesia, painting, sculpting, shaping, shading and treating my newly acquired brows!
I can definitely brag about how perfect my brows are now.
I love that their service is not just the service itself, but aftercare as well. They’ll give you an aftercare kit and full instructions you need to follow to keep your brows healthy!
If you watch the entire video, you’ll see that the kit includes a repair gel and sunscreen, as well as a manual on the do’s and don’ts.
The whole service costs about Php27,000 the stroke Includes a free touch-up after 6-8 months to keep your newly sculpted brows looking perfect that will last a long time. This kit is also included in the fee.
So if you’re thinking about where to spend your Christmas bonus, like some people save for hair, I recommend saving for brows, it’s worth it!
I had this done at Strokes Beauty Studio, located on the 5th floor of the Shangri-La Mall, Mandaluyong.
this is the post I tried eyebrow trimming for the first time, Here’s the cheaper, less sculpted version.
