LG Electronics (LG) will unveil the new LG InstaView™ French Door Refrigerator at CES 2023. Helping users create sleeker kitchens that fit flush with cabinets and enjoy an upgraded culinary lifestyle, new counter-depth models offer generous capacity and a simple, elegant built-in design with mirrored InstaView panels and discreet pocket handles. It also offers four different types of ice cubes and keeps food fresher longer with LG’s advanced preservation technology.
The company’s new 25.5-cubic-foot counter-depth refrigerator offers ample capacity despite a 9 percent reduction in depth compared to traditional French-door refrigerators.1 In order to increase internal storage space, LG redesigned several core components of the refrigerator – refining the cooling duct and evaporator, while also reducing the thickness by strengthening the insulation layer. Although its roomy interior offers 25 percent more food and drink storage space than LG’s previous counter-depth model,2 With a smaller footprint, new French doors can still help save space in the kitchen.
The new model also brings a simple yet sophisticated aesthetic to the kitchen, thanks to LG’s unique mirrored InstaView panel and flat door design. The mirrored glass of the seamless InstaView panel is trimmed in smooth stainless steel and covers almost the entire right door of the refrigerator. With just two taps on the panel, users can view the interior without opening the door – saving time and convenience, preventing cold air from escaping and wasting energy. The subtle, minimalist aesthetic and clean, modern lines of LG’s latest InstaView are further enhanced by a separate pocket handle applied to the refrigerator’s “flat” door.
In addition, the new French door refrigerator can make four different types of ice: ice cubes, crushed ice, LG’s exclusive slow-melting round craft ice, and new mini ice cubes. LG’s Mini Ice Cubes help keep beverages cool and refreshing, making them a great accompaniment to juice, soda, or cocktails. With four ice options to choose from, users can choose the ice that best suits their needs, drink or occasion.
