Online Email Digest
For the past few weeks, I’ve been bombarded with messages from people about not getting emails from the site. I don’t want to bore you with the details of why this is happening, but I’ve made a few changes to help alleviate some of the pain some of you are feeling. One of the changes is The nightly email digest is now live on the website. There is now a “View Daily Digest” button Dashboard This will generate and display your latest feed. I know some of you like to save them for posterity, so one way of doing this now is to print the summary as a PDF and save it on your computer/device.
As a side note, I might switch email providers over the weekend.Hopefully the new provider will have more success accessing the inboxes of some of the more finicky email services like AOL, Yahoo, and Hotmail
Labeled Related ETFs
Now, when viewing a tag (aka keyword) page for a large number of stocks with that tag, you will also see a list of ETFs that hold at least one listed stock. For example, if you visit Electric Vehicle Tab you will see List of ETFs that hold one or more EV stocks displayed on this page.
The latest news from more places
Continuing with the electric car example, on the page for this tab you’ll see A list of recent news for all EV stocks . The same concept is present in the sector pages and when looking at the ETF’s components.
Enhanced ETF Holdings Page
As I’ve written before, I’ve found myself paying more attention to ETFs lately. I often see an ETF make a big move and wonder which of its stocks caused the move. I’ll look at the ETF’s holdings and sort the list of stocks by percent change for the day. I can also quickly check to see if there is any big news in its constituent stocks.
ETF Comparison
You can now do side-by-side comparisons of ETFs.You’ll see comparison tables in several places around the site, including ETFs home page. Here is an example comparison – QQQJ vs. Ark
