The plastic treaty will be grand, but this Indonesian recycling innovator isn’t waiting

A few days ago, I – like many others online – was attacked by a horrific #plastic monster Climbing across a newly opened irrigation canal in eastern Indonesia. You almost certainly know that the ocean plastic crisis starts on land, with Southeast Asia being the main source.

They are turning to every desire by expanding their ability to separate and shred high-quality recyclable materials and creating a reliable supply chain circular model for success. The focus is on villages and towns in the eastern part of Indonesia’s vast archipelago, but at least it seems to me that this model can travel.
