With easy access to major transportation hubs such as Grand Central Station, exploring the city’s cultural landmarks and engaging in world-class shopping has never been easier.

Immerse yourself in a world of classic luxury when you stay in a well-designed room or suite at The Peninsula New York.We stayed in a superior room, about 35 square meters, with the same design as what we saw in the hotel bangkok peninsula. Each space is an exquisite sanctuary with beautiful furnishings and breathtaking views of the dynamic city – but ask for a room with a view.
Whether you choose a guest room or a spacious suite, every detail has been thoughtfully designed to ensure a memorable stay. I have to say the design is a bit dated but the hotel will soon be going into renovation mode.

I really liked the front desk team, they took my issue with the shower seriously and offered me a nice compensation as an apology.

Originally opened in 1905 as the Gotham Hotel, The Peninsula New York was last renovated in 2021. The hotel has 241 rooms and suites. We live in a superior room, with an area of about 35 square meters, and the public price starts at US$695/night.
