The Smith family is a middle-class family living in a city in the world. Second generation parents are college educated and have professional careers. Their two children attend local public schools.
In the second episode, Kevin comes home late with information he gleaned from a blog post or ten.
He thought the logic was impeccable, and he knew it would infuriate his father, Ryan, who got all his economic information from morning TV financial shows, which featured the rather dubious Professor Raul Neutall every day.
In this episode, you’ll see Kevin reading an article online titled “The Real Rockstar Economist.”
The following screenshots are from a Business Review Weekly article published on May 17, 2012.
BRW is a financial weekly that has evolved into another publication.
But the article Kevin read in the comic was a real report about “rock star economists” – a reference to a group of Australian economists who rose to prominence during the global financial crisis. status.
While I was being interviewed for this story, the reporter discovered that I played in a band and therefore followed up with the article captured in the screenshot.
Regardless, I hope you enjoy the story as it unfolds.
