This gathering is organized by Rex Education in collaboration with esteemed partners including the Department of Education (DepEd), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Council on Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD), and Center for Local Governance and Development Professional Development Corporation (CLGPD) . The ceremony was a celebration and heartfelt tribute to the integrity, respect and professionalism, unity of purpose, excellence and resilience of the LGUs and Local Chief Executive Officers (LCEs).

Advocating for education: local government universities and local education agencies play a role

Local government units and local educational institutions play an integral role in nurturing communities, from providing basic services to beyond, taking on challenges and taking practical action to contribute to the provision of quality education and nation building. As those responsible for education and servants of the people, they are staunch defenders. Their examples and stories are inspiring.

Through Gawad Edukampyon, Rex Education not only recognizes ideals but also celebrates practical results. REX salutes all dedicated LGUs and LCEs who are educational responsibility bearers and are committed to improving the lives of fellow Filipinos in the communities they serve.
