AAPI candidates on primary ballots


King County Elections (KCE) has mailed more than 1.4 million ballots to registered voters in King County for the August 2 2022 primary. KCE expects a 45 percent turnout for the election. In 2020, King County elementary school voter turnout reached 56 percent. Voter turnout was 43 percent in 2018.

The primary ballot will include 162 candidates from 52 offices, 42 contested constituency board official races and six ballot measures.

Ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, Aug. 3, or returned to one of 76 drop-box locations across the county, including the most recent locations in Woodinville and Queen Anne. The drop box is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

The deadline to register to vote online is July 25. Voters can register and vote at any KCE polling center location by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
