The first time he attended Burning Man, he brought nothing but his backpack. However, the experience inspired Felix as strangers generously provided him with food and a place to sleep. Fast forward to 2024 and he has brought the Appa Art Car vision to South Africa and created jobs for the entire team.
Drawn to the festival’s emphasis on self-expression, Felix embarked on a challenging but rewarding project to build and operate a “mutated vehicle” Inspired by the beloved Sky Buffalo from the animated series “Avatar: The Last Airbender”. His experience demonstrates AfrikaBurn's ability to inspire and empower individuals to turn their creative visions into reality.
