Andrew Marr Has announced that he will leave British Broadcasting Corporation After 21 years, it moved to the rival broadcaster Global.
The host announced the news on his Twitter on Friday and emphasized that he is “eager to restore his voice.”
When announcing this move, he wrote: “21 years later, I decided to leave the BBC. I have left many happy memories and wonderful colleagues.
“But starting from the New Year, I will move to Global to write and present political and cultural programs, and write articles for newspapers.

“For 16 years, I have been doing the Andrew Marr show every Sunday morning, which may be more than enough for anyone!”
Marr is the former editor of The Independent. He joined the BBC in 2000 and has shown his flagship Sunday political program since 2005.
He also took over as the political editor of BBC News from 200 to 2005, and also hosted the long-running Start The Week discussion program on BBC Radio 4 in 2002.
In January 2013, the host suffered a stroke and was hospitalized for two months. In September of that year, he returned to the Sunday show.

/ Public broadcastingMarr started his career as a junior business journalist at The Scotsman in 1981 and continued to work for The Economist and The Independent, and was appointed editor in 1996.
He lives in North London with his wife, Jackie Ashley, who is a political reporter and broadcaster.
Former Prime Minister George Osborne said on Twitter: “In my 30s and 40s, many Sunday mornings, I spent Andrew on your sofa-you have always been a smart , The well-informed and sharp interviewer, basically didn’t yell and didn’t put everything on you. Well done. Looking forward to the next chapter-life outside can be fun.”
Good Morning Britain’s host Susanna Reid added: “Congratulations on this new role, but it’s a huge blow to the BBC and those of us who rely on the Andrew Marr show to prepare for the week ahead. Best wishes, the best.”
