Apple on Saturday removed Unjected, a dating and community app for unvaccinated people, from its App Store on Saturday, a move that was compared to censorship by the app’s owner.
The company said in a video released: “Obviously, we are considered’too much’ to share our medical autonomy and freedom of choice.” Instagram Saturday. “So, of course, Apple deleted us.”

Unjected was launched as a dating app in May-a Twitter user Call it “Good Q-Pid” -But additional features have been introduced recently. One of them is a list of companies that “respect our autonomy and promote freedom.”
The company released a screenshot of Apple’s deletion message, part of which read: “Specifically, your social networking application inappropriately mentioned the Covid-19 pandemic in its concept or subject matter.”
Unjected said on Instagram, which has about 25,000 followers, that it has removed some features, including social feeds and “blood banks,” in an attempt to stay in the App Store.
“We are looking for ways to get rid of Apple and Google,” the company said. “But for us, the easiest transition may be to make the website as good as possible, because they can’t close it like an app.”
Insider has contacted Unjected, Apple and Instagram for comments.
The app was still available on the Google Play store on Sunday, and most users gave it moderate reviews, including: “Amazing concept, but the sacred $%^& This app is actually unusable.”
