The rapper insisted that “it is always important for us to respect each other” because she was wearing a bikini and relaxing on a lounger in a simulated spa-a tribute to Budapest’s spa culture.
The American star who used multiple looks throughout the show added to the enthusiastic audience: “That’s why it’s so important for us to stand up for the LGBTQ+ community.”
Although the country recently passed legislation widely condemned as anti-LGBT, MTV has recently stood at the venue of the awards ceremony.
The Korean pop superstar Bangtan Boys won four awards including best pop and best combination, but even though Justin Bieber received eight nominations, he failed to win one award.

German-born pop star Kim Petra became the first transgender performer at the awards ceremony, and Maneskin, who won the best rock category before Coldplay and Foo Fighters, was also in other performances.
At some stage, Saweetie changed from a host to a winner because she won in the best new category.
She thanked God and her family, and then praised her fans for supporting her “because I rap in the car”.
She added: “This is just the beginning.”

Northern Irish singer JC Stewart said that participating in the EMA and being nominated for an award is a “dream come true”. He was busy outside of the event ten years ago.
He told the PA: “This is crazy, it’s a dream come true for me — I was at the EMA takeaway in Belfast 10 years ago, so I never thought I would be here today. It’s all It appeared in a lovely way.”
