My kids and I love Italian food, and pesto is our top sauce! In today’s post, I shared my experience and reviews of using Barilla Creamy Genovese Pesto sauce and some recipe ideas. So keep reading.

So, what is pesto? Pesto is a sauce that contains crushed garlic, nuts, coarse salt, basil leaves and hard cheese mixed with olive oil. It is a product of Genoa in northern Italy and a staple food for Italians. My family likes to try different cuisines, some of our favorites include India, Italy, China, Mexico and Thailand.

Introduction/Background

Since its founding in Parma, Italy in 1877, four generations of the Barilla family have been passing on the secrets of making high-quality pesto. Barilla pesto can bring a strong Italian flavor to a variety of dishes, including pasta, pizza, sandwiches, fish, chicken, vegetables and many other delicious recipes! The Baiweilai Group is a globally recognized symbol of Italian technology. All their products and brands bring happy, healthy and honest food to the world and are inspired by the Italian lifestyle and Mediterranean diet.

Barilla’s Creamy Genovese Pesto Sauce is imported from Italy and is made with high-quality ingredients such as fragrant Italian basil and freshly grated Italian cheese. It brings a delicious creamy texture and adds flavor to the classic pesto sauce. They are great for stirring into pasta and grains, spreading on sandwiches and toasts, marinating meat and vegetables, or simply as dipping sauces.
