Roman Rains made a mockery of John Cena on Wednesday, saying that the 13-time WWE champion was “below” him before their clash with WWE Summerslam.
John Cena and Reigns will face off against the WWE Universal Championship in the SummerSlam singles match. Reigns is the current holder of the title.
Raines is currently the top attraction of WWE. He returned at SummerSlam last year. Since then, he has been doing the best job of his career. Since his comeback, Raines hasn’t even been nailed, but he faces the severe challenge of John Cena in the summer frenzy, which will be held on August 21st at the Loyalty Stadium in Paradise Town, Nevada.
“John Cena has done a lot of good things. Obviously, making a wish is very charitable, but when it comes to our sports and entertainment industry, his level in this game is lower than mine. Is entertainment about storytelling? I am the best of our generation. Great storyteller, he is a big man, he is a big star, he is a movie star now, but he is like many other great people, they pretend to be themselves, they pretend to be themselves. You will see me every Friday night ,” Rains, who appeared in the latest episode of The Pat McAfee Show, said.
The following John CenaAfter the return of WWE Money in the Bank, he hardly had time to challenge Reigns for the global championship. The tribal chief initially rejected John Cena’s challenge, but the 44-year-old WWE superstar forced his way into the championship after taking away the title of Fin Ballor.
In the same interview, Raines went on to elaborate on what John Cena should do after his return instead of challenging the WWE Universal Championship. The current universal champion insists that John Cena should only promote his film.
“For me, if he just came here to promote his movie,’Suicide Squad’, yes! It’s a good movie. Go watch it’. You can open the show, you can inspire the crowd, do it, and then Then I will stay in the main event I belong to, I will end the show, and we are done,” Raines added.
SummerSlam, known as the “biggest summer party”, is one of WWE’s original “big four” pay-per-view events, as well as wrestling fanatics, royal battles, and survivor series. It is considered to be WWE’s second largest event of the year after WrestleMania.
