Biden promotes more vaccinations

President Biden plans to vigorously promote more Americans to get vaccinated because of growing concerns about the spreading Delta Variant virus.

The United States is expected to vaccinate 160 million Americans this weekend, but the Biden administration insists that more work remains to be done after failing to achieve the Independence Day goal of vaccinating 70% of the nation’s population.

One of Biden’s primary goals is to vaccinate more 12 to 18-year-old minors before the start of the school year. He also plans to expand mobile clinics and outreach programs to allow as many people as possible to be vaccinated.

“We all know that powerful variants have emerged, such as the Delta variant, but the best defense against these variants is vaccination. This is the most patriotic thing you can do. So please, if you are not vaccinated, then go do it,” Biden says At the White House on Sunday.

“Our focus now is to redouble our efforts to get more people vaccinated. There is still more work to be done, and the vast majority of people will be protected from this virus once they are vaccinated,” the White House press secretary said Jean Psaki At the briefing on Tuesday.

Reuters report Delta variants spread more easily than older coronavirus strains and may cause greater disease, especially among young people.According to health officials, Delta Variant has been 25% in all situations.
