According to British media reports on Saturday, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his wife Kelly will welcome their second child.
Their first child Wilfred was born in April last year.
The newspaper stated that Carrie told her friends in a post on the social media app Instagram that she felt “very lucky” to be pregnant again.
She also said that she had a miscarriage at the beginning of the year.
“The issue of fertility is really difficult for many people, especially on platforms like Instagram. Everything seems to be going well,” she was quoted as saying.
“I find it really comfortable to hear the voices of people who have also experienced loss, so I hope that sharing this in some very small way can also help others.”
The couple got married in May this year. The 57-year-old prime minister had been married twice before, but refused to disclose how many children he had. He has four children with his second wife, Marina Wheeler, and he is a lawyer.
According to the media, 33-year-old Carrie will give birth in December.
