Camilla met inspiring women on tea cups and bacon rolls

Duchess of Cornwall During the first solo engagement of the Prince’s Trust, she enjoyed bacon rolls and tea cups with a group of inspiring women.

Camilla congratulated these people who changed their lives because of their husband’s youth charity.

The Duchess is Clarence Palace To commemorate the trust’s upcoming fundraising project “Brilliant Breakfast”, which aims to support the work of the charity to cultivate the confidence and skills of young women.

When arriving to meet the quartet and enjoy tea and bacon roll breakfast, she said: “If I don’t support, my husband will never forgive me.”

Corrina Sheppard, 29 years old, from Walsall I was unemployed for two years and used funds from the Prince’s Trust Fund to receive training in the NHS.

She told the Duchess that she is now a medical assistant for stroke patients at Royal Wolverhampton Hospital.

The duchess told her: “We need you more than ever.”

The mother of four said afterwards: “I received a £50 voucher, which I used to buy a pair of very comfortable shoes because I was standing in the hospital all day.

“I told the Duchess how great the Prince Trust Fund is, because without them, I wouldn’t be who I am now.

“I have no confidence, but the Prince Trust gave me a chance. I have four children, but I will never be able to do it.”

Brilliant Breakfast encourages the public to have breakfast with friends, family and colleagues from October 11th to 17th to help raise funds for young women.
