Canadian athletes will be busy participating in multiple events Tokyo Olympics On Monday, including the men’s triathlon and men’s sevens rugby team’s debut in back-to-back matches.
For Canadian fans, the event will start on Sunday night and last until Monday.

Triathlon-5:30pm EST
Tyler Mislawchuk and Matthew Sharpe will compete with 54 other athletes in the men’s triathlon competition starting at 5:30 pm ET on Sunday.
Athletes will be tested in two laps swimming for 1,500 kilometers, eight laps riding 40 kilometers, and four laps running 10 kilometers.
Rugby Sevens-8:30 p.m. ET
When Canada faced Britain at 8:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Canada began its quest for a seven-a-side rugby medal.
Then, the team will play the second game of the day against Fiji at 4 am Eastern Time on Monday.
Judo-10 a.m. EST
Jessica Klimkait will participate in the women’s knockout under 57 kg, which will start at 10pm Eastern Time on Sunday.
The men’s knockout round under 73 kg will start at the same time. Canadian player Arthur Magliden will face Saudi Arabia’s Hamad Kasa.
Hockey-10:45 p.m. ET
The men’s team will play against England in the second game starting at 10:45 p.m. EST on Sunday.
Beach Volleyball-11pm Eastern Time
Sarah Pavan and Melissa Humana-Paredes’ women’s beach volleyball team will seek a victory over Germany at 11pm Eastern Time on Sunday.
The pair won their first game against the Netherlands 2-0 on Saturday.
Weightlifting-12:50pm EST
Rachel Leblanc-Bazinet will lift in the second group of the women’s 55kg competition starting at 12:50 pm ET.
Boxing-1:12 AM EDT
Caroline Veyre will face Croatian player Nikolina Cacic in the women’s featherweight preliminaries at 1:12 am EST on Monday.
Softball-1:30 AM ET
The Canadian team will face Italy in the final match of the round robin at 1:30 AM Eastern Time on Monday. This game may determine Canada’s position in the medal competition on Tuesday.
Mountain Bike Ride-2am Eastern Time
The mountain bike ride will begin at 2 am Eastern Time on Monday, the men’s cross-country race will begin, and Peter Disera will represent Canada.
Basketball-4:20 AM EST
The women’s team will play against Serbia in the first round of preliminaries at 4:20 a.m. Eastern Time on Monday to kick off the game.
Volleyball-6:40 a.m. ET
After losing to Italy in Saturday’s Olympic opener, the Canadian men’s team will seek a rebound when facing Japan in an indoor volleyball match at 6:40 am Eastern Time on Monday morning.
Swimming – 6:05 AM EST
On Monday morning, several Canadians will participate in the women’s swimming competition.
At 6:05 am EST, Penny Oleksiak will participate in the second round of the 200-meter freestyle, followed by Summer Mackintosh in the fourth round at 6:12 am EST.
In the 200-meter individual medley, Bailey Andison will participate in the second preliminaries at 6:38 am EST, while Sydney Pickrem will participate in the third preliminaries at 6:42 am EST.
Finally, Katrina Bellio will participate in the first game of the 1,500-meter freestyle at 6:49 am Eastern Time.
Water Polo – 6:50 AM EST
The Canadian women’s team will face Spain in the latest round of preliminaries starting at 6:50 a.m. Eastern time on Monday morning.
