Christina Haack made public her decision to sell the house she shared with her ex-husband Ant Anstead.
In the finale of the season”Christina on the coast,” The 38-year-old Huck revealed to her publicist and best friend Cassie Zebisch her plans for Newport Beach, California, and explained her reasons for bringing the house to the market.
“I will list this house next week,” Huck told Zebisch in an episode of the episode, which was created by people, They chat in the kitchen at home.
Zebisch was shocked, but the HGTV star explained that she needed to get rid of her marriage with Anstead.
“I tried to redo things. I built the bar. I plan to change the wine cellar and add a cabin in the backyard to make it my own space, but it’s just…I need a new start,” Huck said.
In addition to her emotional reasons, Huck said selling the property is also a wise financial choice.
“To be honest, the prices are high now. I have been receiving these offers like off-market offers and it is difficult to give up. I can make enough profit on this house so that I can transfer the equity,” Ha Grams added. “It’s great to go to the beach and see the endless ocean. I mean, we live in Newport, so we might as well take a look at the scenery.”
“I understand why you want a new start. But I know you will miss this house very much,” Zebisch told Haack.
Haack and Anstead purchased this five-bedroom and four-and-a-half-bathroom house for their mixed family.Huck shared with her first husband, 10-year-old daughter Taylor Rees and 6-year-old son Braden James Tarek El MoussaAnstead and his ex-wife have 17-year-old daughter Emily and 15-year-old son Archie. Huck and Anstead also have a son, Hudson London, 2 years old.
Haack listed the 4,804-square-foot house for $6 million in April. It was officially sold for $5.35 million in June. A month later, she and her children moved into a new home in California.
Huck’s ex-husband supported her decision to sell the house. “I’m really happy for her,” Anstead before Tell people. “I think this is the right decision. That family has memories.”
Huck and Anstead announced their breakup in September 2020 after less than two years of marriage. Their divorce was completed in June.
