We all like jewelry, especially when it is shiny and clean. As each season changes, we should also remember to clean our jewelry!
Lotion, perfume, and even dirt will dim our beautiful gems and gadgets, and cleaning can easily restore the beauty and luster we all love, especially when you have the right approach to each one!
Diamond
Put some warm water into the dish and let it soak for a few minutes. Put the debris into a dish with window cleaner, shake it back and forth in the window cleaner and soak for at least 30 minutes. Rinse it with warm water, and scrub again with a toothbrush. here you go. Bring the diamond ring to the jeweler every year for cleaning and inspection of the prongs and settings.
Rhinestone
Gently massage the old-fashioned white toothpaste with your fingers. Scrub gently with a clean toothbrush. Rinse well and use a toothbrush to get into all recessed areas. Let dry on a soft cloth.
Gold
Pour a small amount of dish soap into a glass of warm water. Let this piece soak for a few minutes to remove body oils and dirt, and then scrub with a clean toothbrush. Rinse and polish with a soft cloth.
silver
Put a piece of aluminum foil in a plastic bucket or container. Place your silver jewelry on foil and pour enough hot water to cover the pieces. Add a few tablespoons of baking soda and let stand for about 10-20 minutes. Rinse the debris and wipe dry and polish with a soft cloth. This method is not suitable for other types of jewelry.
Guide to the natural cleaning of gold, silver and jewellery
Put the jewelry in a shallow bowl, add water and an Alka-Seltzer tablet. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Rinse and wipe until dry.
Put pure white vinegar on a soft cloth and wipe the jewelry.
Grease and body oils can be removed by immersing the jewelry in ordinary rubbing alcohol. Use an old toothbrush to help remove dirt from every small area. Cheap vodka also works well.
Gems and pearls have different care needs from gold or silver jewelry with diamonds. Colored gems do not like sunlight, which will change their color. Pearl does not like any chemicals.

Pearl
Irritating chemicals should not be used to clean pearls. Wipe them only with a damp cloth, or wipe them with a soft microfiber cloth dipped in olive oil. Wipe gently with a soft cloth. If you wear pearls a lot, ask the jeweler to check them every other year to make sure they are in good condition.
Emerald
Do not soak emeralds for a long time. Wipe with a soft cloth for a few minutes to remove body oils. Dip a soft toothbrush in a mixture of warm water and a small amount of detergent, and then gently wipe the emeralds. Rinse quickly with a toothbrush dipped in clean warm water. Polish the stone with a soft cloth and let it air dry.
sapphire
Sapphire is an extremely durable gemstone. First wipe them with a soft cloth to remove body oils. Use a toothbrush and some window cleaner, vinegar or even vodka to clean the ring. Immerse in a container filled with clean water to remove cleaning residue, then polish with a soft cloth and air dry.
Leather jewelry
Wipe leather jewelry with a dry cloth. Do not sit in water or soak. Use a damp cloth to clean it. If it has body oils, lotions, and other dirt, use a damp cloth and a moisturizing soap such as Dove, wipe it with a cloth moistened with soapy foam, and then polish it without rinsing.
Leather should be treated with shoe polish, cream or wax of appropriate color or transparent. This will re-nourish and condition the leather and reduce the possibility of it becoming brittle and cracking. Note: The beads on the leather thong should be removed before processing the leather to protect them!
Stretch beaded bracelet
Turn it on and off in the right way. Do not pull one end of the bracelet to extend it to your hand to put it on and take it off. Instead, roll the beads onto your hands and wrists to stretch the elasticity as little as possible. Do not wear them in the shower, swimming pool or spa. Not only will heat and chemicals wear down elastic materials, but they can also damage gems.
Cleaning them is very simple, just wipe them gently with a soft microfiber cloth. If necessary, wash quickly with soap and water, rinse and pat dry. Let dry before wearing.
After cleaning your jewelry, check carefully to make sure that all inlays, clasps, and claws are secure. Always clean the jewelry in the dish, not in the sink. Small accessories can easily be thrown into the sewer. Rinse, unless otherwise noted, then wipe dry with a soft cloth, and then let it sit to air dry.
Important note: Please make sure your chain is untied before cleaning!
To untie the chains, place them on a hard surface, and then drop a drop of oil (olive oil, baby oil, cooking oil) on the knot or tangles. Use a pair of sewing needles or pins to gently separate the knot and remove it.
Store the chain: slide in the straw and fasten the buckle at the end of the straw! The effect is amazing! !
No matter how much we pay for the jewelry. It should look beautiful and keep it clean easily. I have arthritis, so investing in a sonic cleaner is my best investment.
This is to look great!
