Clothing of the week 3.6.23

Happy Monday. We came back from our warm weather vacation and it really brought me back to life. I forgot how much I love warmth. A little sun and sand is a welcome respite from the long winter we’ve had in Vermont.We went St. Pete This year because we canceled last year’s trip when Omicron went crazy and got flight credits. I also want to go places we know and it will be easier with a toddler. It was the perfect mix of beach, pool and exploring downtown St Petersburg as it was windy the other morning.

We did carry luggage to keep things simple and I managed to pack just the right amount for our stay (we also had a washer/dryer which was nice). I thought I’d share a “vacation capsule wardrobe” because I love how everything I pack fits together and I can wear a bunch of different outfits with just a few.I’m going to share another post about what I carry in my backpack because I’m really in love It holds a lot, you can wash it, and it has a handy sleeve that slips over the handle of a suitcase. I didn’t get a chance to take pictures of everything I wore, but this is most of it!

Clothing of the week 3.6.23

White Jeans and Tank Top

It was very windy the other morning, so we decided to head out to the center of St. Petersburg for a walk. We stop for coffee at Intermezzo And walk around in Central. This outfit was probably my favorite of the whole trip (I wore it twice).

Striped Breton-blend shorts

Here’s another combo that I repeated a bunch of.We did a lot of beach walks in the morning, but it was very windy, so this very perfect. These Madewell shorts were a gamble because I bought them on final sale, but they are pretty darn good. So comfortable and stylish.

Indian girl mini dress

I have always wanted to try this style of skirt indian daughters I like it very much. Their clothes are really comfortable and the prints are all beautiful. It’s the perfect beach cover-up.

Indian women’s dress

I brought two DOI skirts because they don’t take up much space and are easy to wear. This maxi dress is another new look for me and I absolutely love it. It can look dressy or casual, and it’s very comfortable. It’s a great option for going from the beach to the restaurant, although I only wear it out to eat on the go.

Striped Breton, cotton T-shirt, linen-blend shorts

We did a lot of walking and luckily I brought my converse because the Birkenstocks are a great pair of beach sandals but after a long walk in them my legs were not comfortable. I keep talking about the Sézane Conrad tee because it’s my favorite basic tee. I got them in navy (I already have white ones) and love wearing them with these shorts and white jeans.
