Imagine rolling off the bed with the entire ocean at your fingertips… Somino Superyacht is preparing to bring luxury heights into the water on its 222-meter, $550 million vessel, which is due to launch in 2024. The first official renderings designed by Somino will be released in late 2021 to showcase 39 customisable, full-size apartments on board. Each apartment may include but is not limited to: private kitchen, library, gym, indoor/outdoor dining space, private dressing area and a large living room space with 270 degree forward view. The ship’s intended destination is to explore the four corners of the earth. “Somnio will be the world’s only residential superyacht designed to exacting standards commensurate with opportunity living,” co-founder and skipper Erik Bredhe noted after Somino’s announcement.
With Somino’s emphasis on environmentally responsible interior design and clean engine technology, nautical appeal is as important as the sustainability of the entire vessel. The Somino Superyacht has 6 decks and each room has a range of first-rate amenities, as well as world-class medical care and safety precautions. The yacht will also include a 10,000-bottle wine cellar and coordinated tasting room, an excellent restaurant and bar, an onboard beach club with water sports, and the most exclusive: a lounge in the bow with views of each location of beauty.

The bespoke elegant design will be a collaboration between Winch Design, Sweden’s Tillberg Design and/or Luttenberger Design, and Somino’s homeowners will also be able to bring their own ideas to the bottom of the sea with custom designs for their apartments.

These ocean-facing apartments are now available for purchase, starting at $22 million. Buying opportunities are limited to invitations or referrals to maintain a private, closely guarded process. “Ship owners will share a truly unique lifestyle at sea,” said Bredhe, “with a carefully selected crew and a never-ending global itinerary, with carefully selected destinations and experiences for a yacht of this nature.”
