Current vice president Mike Pence On Thursday night, in response to a question from a student at Texas A&M University, a male student took the opportunity to seek dating advice.
The college student who called himself Bobby called the Trump-Pence administration “the greatest ever.”
“My question is more like a personal question,” he said, evading the political-themed questions Pence raised most of the night. “I need a smart person to answer me: What do you think is the most effective way to find a girlfriend in college?”
Hundreds of college students cheered, Pence smiled and shook his head slightly in response.
“It’s difficult—because my wife knows that I haven’t dated her,” Pence said with a smile, and then told the students, “Sit down. I can tell you that there is no problem.”
Pence and his wife Karen met at a Catholic church event during his law school, and they got married in 1985. They have three children.

Pence’s speech on Thursday evening — officially titled “How to Save America from the Awakened Left” — was a stop on his university lecture tour organized by the Young American Foundation (YAF).
The former Indiana governor and congressman is believed to be considering bidding for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024, but he declined to disclose his plans when a student asked for it on Thursday night.
“I am not a long-term planner,” he said. “I will post it to everyone in time.”

“Before we left, we vaccinated 1 million people with three safe and effective vaccines every day,” Pence said to applause. “This is American innovation-American creativity.”
He was also asked to rate his successor and vice president Kamala Harris, In the most recent public opinion survey, its job approval rate has dropped below 30%.
“To be honest, I see her approval rating, and when I think about the approval rating when I was vice president, I blush,” he said. “I don’t like personalization, so I can only say that I think it has something to do with policy.”
