COP26: Barack Obama arrives in Glasgow to storm US military protests

Arak Obama has arrived at COP26 in Glasgow because he marked the return of the world stage centered on the climate crisis.

The former president arrived in Scotland on Sunday night and will deliver a speech and meet with key leaders on Monday. It is understood that he will stay in Edinburgh instead of Glasgow.

Before his trip, Obama wrote on Twitter: “Five years ago, the Paris Agreement came into effect. Paris provides an important framework for tackling climate change, but it is not enough.

“That’s why I will be in Glasgow on Monday to talk about the road ahead, especially what young people can do to help.”

According to his spokesperson Hannah Hankins, Mr. Obama will “explain the important progress made five years after the Paris Agreement came into force, highlight the leadership of young people around the world, and urge all of us — the government to take stronger Action., the private sector, philanthropy and civil society”, a Scotsman reports.
