- sour cream – Use full-fat sour cream for best flavor. mayonnaise Can be used as a substitute if desired, but the taste will vary.
- Dijon mustard – This gives the casserole a little vibrancy and goes well with the ham. Yellow mustard can be used, but may be too strong; the flavor is best for Dijon.

- Chick – It needs to be cooked.you can make your own chicken shreds Use chicken breasts or drumsticks. Other convenient options include grilled chicken, packaged precooked chicken breasts, diced grilled chicken breasts, or any leftover chicken.
- Ham – Use deli ham or leftovers Keto Glazed Ham.
- swiss cheese – For convenience, buy shredded cheese, or shred your own for the best flavor. Switzerland is the classic choice, but you can also mix in Gruyere, mozzarella, or even pepper jack. If you have cheese slices on hand, you can also melt them on the casserole instead of using shredded ones.
- pig skin – These are optional, but add a nice crunch to the casserole, like crumbs or cookies. If making this for a family and you’re not concerned with carbs, panko breadcrumbs can be substituted.
