Global cases reach 250 million

Regeneron antibody drug showed protection for up to 8 months
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals said on Monday that a single dose of the antibody cocktail reduced the risk of Covid-19 infection by 81.6% within two to eight months after administration in the late-stage trial.
Myron Cohen, director of the monoclonal antibody work of the Covid Prevention Network funded by the National Institutes of Health, said that the results show that the antibody therapy REGEN-COV has the potential to provide long-lasting immunity to infection.
Australia begins to roll out vaccine boosters
Australia started vaccinating Pfizer on Monday, as millions of people in its largest city, Sydney, woke up amid accelerated immunization campaigns and gained more freedom.

Virus is relieved in Auckland
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said that as vaccination rates increase and the lockdown may be phased out at the end of this month, New Zealand will relax restrictions on its largest city from Wednesday.
