An administrative assistant to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo described in detail her groping charges against him in an interview aired on Monday, saying he violated the law and must be held responsible.
Brittany Commisso, who has filed criminal proceedings against the politician, spoke because after a curse report that recorded allegations of sexual harassment by 11 women, Cuomo faced increasing Big resignation pressure.
“The governor needs to be held accountable,” Comiso said in an interview with “CBS This Morning” and the Times Union newspaper. “What he did to me was a crime. He broke the law.”
Comiso said that when Cuomo was working in his administrative residence last year, Cuomo improperly touched her twice, touching her back and chest.

The 63-year-old veteran Democrat has repeatedly denied any inappropriate contact with women.
Comiso said:
Maybe for him, he thinks this is normal. But for me and the other women he did this, it was abnormal. It is not popular. This is of course not mutually agreed.
According to New York media, Melissa DeRosa, one of Cuomo’s closest confidants, has stepped down.
DeRosa was named in an explosive report released last week, which stated that Cuomo had sexually harassed 11 women, 9 of whom were current or former national workers.
She was described as part of a group of loyalists who worked to avenge a woman who accused the governor of harassment.
In her resignation letter on Sunday-obtained by several American media-she said that the past two years have been “tested emotionally and spiritually.”
“For the past 10 years, serving the people of New York has been the greatest honor of my life. The resilience, strength, and optimism of New Yorkers in the most difficult times inspires me every day,” she said.

Her resignation was filed after Comiso filed a criminal lawsuit against Cuomo, which increased his chances of being charged.
Comiso’s allegations form part of the report.
Despite increasing pressure, Cuomo rejected President Joe Biden and other major Democrats’ calls for resignation, and state legislators are working to impeach him.
Cuomo was initially praised for handling the coronavirus crisis, and then accused of covering up the death toll in the nursing home-De Rosa was also involved in the scandal.
