“Thinking of Bill Barr leaving, resigning after he announced that he had not seen the irregularities in the election, and then his successor was under tremendous pressure from the President of the United States, even to the point where they were talking about replacing him… The pressure has always been there. ,” Durbin said.

In his testimony on Friday, Rosen detailed the efforts of Jeffrey Clark, the former acting head of the Civil Department of the Justice Department, to help Trump and his allies subvert the results of the 2020 election. According to CNN, the former attorney general talked about multiple interactions with Clark, but most of his testimony focused on five occasions when Clark broke away from the chain of command to promote election fraud allegations.
On Sunday, Durbin said that information shared during Rosen’s testimony indicated that Trump’s Ministry of Justice Is “terrible”.
