Verizon appeared to be experiencing severe connection problems on Monday morning, and people were reportedly unable to access the service.

The wireless service provider began experiencing major problems at around 12 AM Eastern Time on Tuesday, and the website and service tracker DownDetector reported a large number of outages.

According to the website, most of the reported connection problems occurred in New York and Minneapolis, although there are cases across the United States

People complain that they cannot receive signals on their mobile phones and cannot access the Internet.

One user wrote: “There is no mobile 4G or 3G signal in Melbourne, Florida. It just crashed and the website still cannot load.”

Another person said: “Okay. I don’t know if my s9+ changed to 3g when 4g dropped. But my 4g went blank and came back again, but it’s really unstable now. I can’t even load YouTube videos.”

This is a developing story and will be updated.
