I've been to Hong Kong a few times before, but now there are so many more places and things to explore in Hong Kong's hidden gems. With more than one million Filipino tourists visiting Hong Kong earlier this year, it’s clear that the city remains a top tourist destination. Filipino travelers are now looking for more hidden gems and immersive cultural experiences. To help, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has put together a series of must-do activities suitable for all types of travellers:

  1. Escape to Ping Chau Discover a slower-paced lifestyle on this charming car-free island. Once an industrial hub, Ping Chau now hosts quirky art exhibitions in an art junkyard converted from an old factory.
  2. Cycling around Cheung Chau Explore Hong Kong’s natural beauty and cultural heritage on two wheels. Visit Cheung Po Tsai Cave, a former pirate hideout, and enjoy fresh seafood by the sea.

Starting from July 11, 2024, visitors can enjoy more than 500,000 restaurants, shops, transportation and sightseeing travel discounts with the Hong Kong Tourism Board’s Summer Triple Award. Just go to the designated location to pick up the card and register using a non-local mobile phone number. Offers are on a first-come, first-served basis.
