With its subtle sweetness, mild chocolate flavor, a hint of richness in every bite, and a color that really makes it pop, Red Velvet Cake is without a doubt one of the most recognizable and beloved cakes in the world . Red velvet cake makes cake magic, but what if we turned it into ice cream? The result is DQ’s newest Blizzard deal of the month – Red Velvet Delights, featuring seven different treats to sweeten your day!
Starting with three new Blizzard flavors, starting with Red Velvet Cheesecake Blizzard, made with chunks of red velvet cake and bite-sized cheesecake, all mixed into DQ’s signature vanilla soft serve ice cream. There’s also the Red Velvet Dream Blizzard, a dreamy concoction of vanilla soft serve ice cream, chunks of red velvet cake, and soft, chewy marshmallow cubes. Then there’s the Red Velvet Nut Chip Blizzard, made with vanilla soft serve ice cream mixed with chunks of red velvet cake, crushed peanuts and chocolate chips.
If you’re looking for a refreshing thirst-quencher, you can’t go wrong with the new Red Velvet Shake, a red velvet chocolate milkshake topped with whipped cream that’s perfect for a hot day.
Can’t decide between red velvet cake and ice cream? Well, you can pair it with Red Velvet Nutella Blizzard Cake, a 100% ice cream cake made with vanilla soft serve ice cream, red velvet cake pieces, cake shortbread center and chocolate fudge, finished with frosting and topped with Crushed peanuts and chocolate chips.
If you want your own ice cream cake, there is the Red Velvet Fantasy Tin Cake, which comes in a reusable tin. It’s made with vanilla soft serve ice cream and soft, chewy marshmallows, then topped with red velvet cake pieces and frosting.
