A legacy of empowerment
What makes the GPULP Scholarship Foundation special is its rich history. It is the corporate social responsibility arm of Century Ventures Diesel Parts and Supplies Corporation and Ford TractorPhilippines Inc., founded by brothers Gregorio Uy Jr. and Samuel Uy. The foundation is named after their parents, Gregorio P. Uy and Lee Peng, whose dedication to education inspired this life-changing initiative.
Since its inception in 2011, the foundation has grown from supporting over 30 students to assisting over 140 scholars at different ISU campuses and even Cagayan State University. Just look at it – 89 of these scholars have graduated, and every single one of them found a job after graduation. Talk about results!
But it's more than that. We encourage scholars to create an ongoing positive ripple effect by using their education to uplift their communities.
