Elbit Systems wins $120 million contract to supply Hermes 900 UAS to Royal Thai Navy

Elbit Systems Ltd. Announces $120 Million Contract to Supply HermesTM value Provided 900 Maritime Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and training capabilities to the Royal Thai Navy. The contract will be performed within three years.

Under the contract, Elbit Systems will supply the Royal Thai Navy with the Hermes 900 maritime UAV system, which features maritime radar, electro-optical payloads, satellite communications, deployable inflatable life rafts and other capabilities. The Hermes 900 maritime drone is designed to enable the Royal Thai Navy to perform blue water and coastal missions, control vast oceans and long coastlines, communicate with combat vessels and perform civilian tasks such as maritime search and rescue, as well as identify suspicious personnel activity and potential hazards.

UAS of the Hermes family has so far been selected by more than 20 customers in Israel, UK, Switzerland, Canada, United Nations, EU, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, etc.; proving their competitive advantage, combining technical complexity, reliability, open architecture and a solid growth path.
