Trueit considers research to be one of her favorite parts of her writing process. While brainstorming ideas and creating technical gadgets for the Explorer Academy world, she discovered that many things she thought were completely fictional actually exist!

My personal experience and feedback

A review co-written by my 17-year-old daughter and I!

Explorer Academy: Secrets of Nebula It is a wonderful book, full of mystery and excitement, and will leave you at a loss. The plot is full of surprising twists and turns, and when you follow 12-year-old Cruz Coronado (Cruz Coronado) on an adventure at the Academy of Elite Explorers, the stakes are high, where he worked hard to uncover the secrets surrounding his mother’s death . Cruz and his new explorer friend are equipped with ground-breaking gadgets and talented professors who will guide them on a journey of growth and self-discovery.

The book is decorated with incredible illustrations to give you a true understanding of what happened in the story, and there are various clues hidden throughout the page. The choice of the word is simple and easy to understand, but a detailed picture is also made. Cruz and his friends proved to be real characters, with depth and complexity as well as flaws and quirks that made them very cute. The end of the book also connects all aspects of the story with real life, mentions how the whimsical gadgets used by explorers quickly become a reality, and provides information about breakthroughs in various scientific fields in a way that will not tire you. Information, like some scientific knowledge, but will make you excited about the future.

At the beginning of the book, Cruz was surfing in his hometown of Hawaii, and then went to the Explorer Academy in the US capital when he tried his own life. From there, the plot will only become more complicated as he faces intellectual challenges as well as sabotage and attempts at his life. Cruz tried to prove himself because his mother worked closely with the college, and his aunt Marisol taught there. Therefore, he must learn how to accept himself and accept the fact that he is worth going there. Cruz must also maintain friendship with his best friend Rani, who also applied to the academy but was not accepted. With the help of his aunt, father and his classmates, the pair worked together to solve the mystery and to find out what really happened.
