There's nothing more joyful and special than this The Ritz-Carlton Boston. We are very grateful to work with the hotel and stay in a suite during our vacation. From the moment you step through the front door you will feel the warmth and festive cheer. This is ideal if you're attending a show at the Citizens Bank Opera House or King's Theatre, both of which are within walking distance of the hotel. We went to the Boston Ballet and it was so convenient, we only had to walk a block, especially with young children.

Our room overlooked Boston Common, which was festive and brightly lit. Interestingly, Boston Common is the oldest public park in the United States. The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge is one of the best amenities when you are traveling with kids. They serve breakfast, lunch and delicious snacks and drinks throughout the day. besides Fun facilities specially designed for children Includes a welcome gift and special tent for your room (a surprise that my kids loved).

Don't miss the Avery Bar, walk through the lobby and you will find a beautifully decorated, cozy and luxurious space with a fireplace, sofas and lots of festive decorations. After the show have a drink and snacks and the kids can write letters to Santa who is located next to the seating area.

Things to Do in Boston with Kids

There's nothing more joyful than watching a show Boston Ballet's “The Nutcracker” During the holidays. The performance lasts approximately 2 hours (including a 20-minute intermission). There were some very young children in the audience and I was so impressed with their performance from start to finish. The show is engaging and beautiful and my 4 year old loves it.

As you approach the New England Aquarium, you will be greeted by seals at the entrance. Featuring everything from sea lions to penguins to sharks, the New England Aquarium offers an immersive experience for the whole family. The size and layout of the aquarium make it a great activity, especially for younger children, as it's not too big or difficult to navigate. You can explore the entire space in about an hour or two, but you can extend the time if you wish.

If you want a full day adventure, the Science Museum is a family-friendly activity. There are more than 20 exhibits to explore, as well as exciting live demonstrations, 4D movies and immersive demonstrations. Designed to cater to different age groups, making it a great place for families.

Snow Harbor

Snowport's Holiday Market offers a fun holiday shopping experience with hundreds of vendors offering your Christmas shopping. There are also plenty of food and drink options. It was very quiet the day we went, I imagine it will get very busy, so plan accordingly.

Boston Common Skating

Boston Frog Pond is open seasonally for skating. This is a family-friendly activity with skate rentals available in sizes 8T to Men's 15.

Where to eat with kids in Boston

For breakfast or lunch, check out Tater's Bakery and Cafe. There are plenty of restaurants around the city that are great for kids, especially since they have lots of kid-friendly menu options and fast service. If you're craving Mexican food in the harbor, citrus and salt It is a festive place during festivals. If you go to Snowport it's nearby and within walking distance.

If you find yourself in an aquarium Granary Tavern There is a kid friendly menu with all the mains and it's easily accessible on foot.
