Universal Robina Corp. (URC)’s Thai subsidiary has scooped two more awards, cementing its position as one of the nation’s top premium food producers.
After meeting all required criteria, URC Thailand has been awarded these prestigious FDA Quality Awards by the Ministry of Public Health. Most notable are the product quality and environmentally friendly product packaging processes under the company’s sustainability program UR Green.
The company, which received the award for the first time in 2020, was again named “Outstanding Food Manufacturer”.
Meanwhile, its Dewberry Puff Cake Orange was voted “outstanding for its predominantly local ingredients”.
URC Thailand has been lauded for its quality inspection and assurance programme, compliance with food safety rules, and corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives.
Dewberry Puff is recognized because 90% of the ingredients used in it are domestic.
