Former National Security Advisor John Bolton Is making a “firm prediction” that the former president Donald Trump He will not run for president in 2024, mainly because he fears that he will lose another election.
Since leaving office, Trump has been making fun of the presidential campaign, his poll data is good, and he has a strong control on his side. However, Bolton believes that speculation about another campaign is just to make people pay attention to Trump’s strategic moves. The former president did not actually seriously consider running for the White House again.
“I don’t think Trump will run for president in 2024,” Bolton told iTV host Robert Peston on Wednesday. “He is very afraid of losing in 2024, because if he hates anything in the world, he hates being called a loser, and the last thing he wants to do is to enter history after losing in the last election.”
Bolton added that he believes Trump knew “deep down” that he had lost the 2020 election. The former Trump official believes that this fact exacerbated fears of another defeat in 2024.
Trump still hasn’t given way to the 2020 presidential election Joe Biden And continue to push him to baselessly believe that the election was “stolen” from him. The former president insisted that Biden won only because of widespread fraud, but Trump and any of his allies did not provide evidence that fraud was so common that it might change the election results.

While revisiting the last presidential election, Trump also teased the possibility of returning to the campaign. He has never confirmed a formal presidential campaign, and any confirmation may appear after mid-2022, but Trump has repeatedly stated that he is studying this possibility and his supporters will be “very satisfied” with his decision.
Trump also recently stated that the only thing that can stop him from running is to go against the advice of his doctor. The former president has always insisted that he is healthy.
Despite rumors that Trump may run for the election, Bolton believes that this will not happen. Bolton served as Trump’s national security adviser from 2018 to 2019, and said that he thinks Trump will “non-stop” talking about the campaign until the last minute.
Bolton said: “If he says he will not be a candidate, then the spotlight will go out. He doesn’t like to do that.”
Now, this does not mean that Bolton thinks Trump will fade out of the background.Despite being deposed, Trump maintained his position as leader of the Republican Party and vowed to help Republicans Win in the middle of 2022.
Bolton predicted that Trump will try to become the “king maker” in the Republican nomination process, although it remains to be seen how the process will falter.
