I’m happy to announce the launch of a review/discussion forum for SwingTradeBot! The forum can be accessed through the navigation menu at the top of the page. You’ll also see some forum comment threads scattered throughout the site. Specifically, there are comments in the following places:
- Stock page
- End of Day Scan Results Page
- Intraday Alerts Page
Therefore, you will be able to read and/or join discussions on these topics directly from these pages.
You’ll find categories in the forum that discuss other topics. I hope people will ask and answer questions, share their thoughts and opinions, and connect with others interested in SwingTradeBot and trading in general. My goal is to create a productive and respectful environment where individuals can come together to learn, grow and engage in meaningful discussions.
Over the years, I’ve had a lot of insightful, personal conversations with people over email. I hope most of these discussions are happening in the forums now so others can benefit from them. So if you have support questions, feature requests, etc., please post them in the forum. Just be sure to search the forums first to make sure there aren’t already conversations about your project.
To ensure our forum is a positive and informative space, I’ve created a set of guidelines for people to follow. (They’re pinned to the top of the forum’s “General” category.) These guidelines are designed to foster respectful discussions and ensure that everyone feels comfortable sharing their thoughts and opinions.
Comments will be posted under everyone’s username. The system automatically assigns a randomly generated (stupid) username. You can change your username via Account Menu -> Forum/Comment Settings.
I hope the forum/comments will be a valuable resource for traders. I encourage everyone to join in and share their insights and knowledge with others.
PS This is a very early forum version.Over the next few weeks I’ll be adding more features and making general tweaks. Some things on my to-do list are:
- Like/Dislike Comments
- Flag Spam/Abusive Comments
- choose your own avatar
- Notifications for replies to your comments/topics
- Possibility to focus on topics and/or human capabilities (if people want to)
- Could be a private comment – this could basically be a personal (trading) journal
Polyphenylene sulfide For those on the Australian, Canadian, British or OTCBB sites, those sites’ own forums are where individual stocks are discussed. However, for more general topics, you might also want to search the US forums for answers/information/tips. With more people and events on the US site, chances are your topic will be addressed there.
