Mooloolaba Beach is the perfect beach for swimming with the kids. Lifeguards are staffed year-round and you can usually find a shady spot under the trees. When the kids are done swimming and building sandcastles, they can head to the beach playground.
2. Visit SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast
SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast Aquarium is home to sharks, penguins, turtles and rays. Children can learn about the animals, play in the indoor playground and enjoy snacks in the café. There are seal shows and an ocean tunnel where you can walk through and see sharks, rays and turtles.
3. Stroll along the Mooloolaba Esplanade
The Mooloolaba Esplanade is a scenic walk along the coast. It is also suitable for strollers and bicycles. Stop and enjoy the view, or grab a bite to eat at a cafe or restaurant.
4. Play in the rock pools from Alex to Mooloolaba
Little ones will love splashing around the shoreline rock pools. Bring a sunhat, sunscreen, and snacks for a fun morning or afternoon checking out the different rock pools.

Let your kids climb, swing and explore in the park. We love visiting the parks in Mooloolaba as they have the best ocean views. There are also picnic tables, barbecue facilities and plenty of space to run.

Whether you enjoy whale watching or fishing, Mooloolaba has plenty of boat tours to choose from. I took the kids on a one hour Mooloolaba canal cruise and we had a blast.
