“I hosted a meeting with my transportation counterparts [in other countries]When I talked to them, it became clear that dual vaccination would be a requirement, and we have seen it in almost every country in the world.
“If you have not been vaccinated yet, please get vaccinated. Unless you are medically exempted, you will need to be vaccinated to travel in the future.”

Mr. Sharps spoke after announcing further adjustments to the British traffic light system, which put France on the amber list starting on Sunday.
Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Slovakia, Latvia, Romania and Norway have joined the green list that allows unrestricted travel.

“We did live with the coronavirus long enough to know that it was unpredictable; however, we also endured long enough to get most people vaccinated, and other countries are doing the same thing.
“This does mean that we can make a three-week plan this summer instead of the one-week plan of last year.
“I hope people can leave under this simplified system and enjoy their rest, instead of staring at their shoulders all the time. As long as they follow the process, they can have a good time. I hope they can enjoy their vacation. “
