- Add liquid. Pour in salsa and water. Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Warm tortillas. Spray skillet with cooking spray. Place it over medium heat. Add 1-3 tortillas and heat 1-2 minutes per side or until hot and tender. Remove them and set aside. Repeat with all tortillas.

Tips and variations
From reheating the tortillas in one go to making them extra crispy, these grilled chicken tacos are always on point.
- Fry them. Assemble the tortillas without ingredients and set aside. Add 1-2 tablespoons oil to a large skillet over medium heat. Add tortillas to pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until crispy. Remove them from the heat and enjoy.
- Exchange protein. Use shredded beef, turkey or pork for an easy variation.
- Reduce it. If you don't let the chicken absorb most of the salsa, the tortillas will get soft quickly and your tortillas will become watery.
- Add cheese. During the last 5 minutes of cooking time, add 1/2 cup of shredded cheese to the chicken filling to make the tacos cheesier.
- Use a microwave. Sprinkle a stack of tortillas with 1/2 teaspoon water and microwave them all at once. Microwave for 30-40 seconds or until hot and tender.
- Add vegetables. Mix 1/2 cup roasted corn or sautéed bell peppers into the chicken filling for a heartier meal.
