Greeted by the Atomium aliens, I made it to the crowd early in the morning and got tickets for 12 euros. As soon as I walked into this impressive symbol of science, I was immediately drawn to its soaring 333 feet, as if from another world. With a ticket to go to the top floor, I spent over an hour admiring the building and its surroundings, soaking up the breathtaking views brussels.
From nine interconnected metal spheres to the steel tube columns that enclose elevators and escalators, Atomium is a fascinating tribute to the importance of science in our lives.
