Helping employers navigate healthcare in a post-pandemic world at INVEST Digital Health

Employers continue to think about how best to serve their employees in a post-pandemic world. They are considering whether to return to an in-person work environment, continue working remotely or strike a balance between the two. While many employees have grown accustomed to working remotely because it allows them to balance taking care of their families and getting work done, others struggle with social isolation.

Employers face equally complex choices in the area of health benefits. How do they balance the diverse healthcare needs of their employees while keeping healthcare costs manageable? Several startups, growth-stage and established companies seek to address these issues in a variety of ways, from virtual-prioritizing care and improving the management of chronic conditions, to devising ways to manage or reduce the cost of treating complex conditions such as cancer and surgery.

MedCity INVEST Digital Health will be held in cooperation with healthy wild cat in Dallas, Texas September 28. The session will highlight a number of healthcare-related issues ranging from mental health to business models and financial considerations.
